Autumn is the time for the big pumpkin trend in food, drinks, scents, etc.  So why not incorporate the trend in your BBQ ribs routine?  This succulent recipe will pair a pumpkin sauce with your favorite food…ribs!

Pumpkin BBQ Sauced Ribs
(makes 4 servings)
2 full racks of pork spare ribs (4 – 5 lbs total)

Dry Rub:
1 tbsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp ground white pepper

Pumpkin BBQ Sauce:
1 cup pureed pumpkin
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
2/3 cup molasses
1/2 cup light brown sugar
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp cayenne pepper
4 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
